City of Melbourne Fence Permitting Guidelines

Please call 321-608-7900 for all fence and shed installations.

Fencing:  No permit is required to REPLACE two or less panels in the same footprint as the original fencing. All other installations require a permit from the City of Melbourne.

Sheds:  No permit is required if the shed is 100 sq. feet or less.  If a cement slab is placed, then a permit is required for any size shed.
